One Year Blogiversary!

Today marks the one year anniversary of A Mommy in the City. One year ago today I was inspired by the man that does my dry cleaning downstairs to start this blog. Little did he or I know that my life would be forever changed that day.

I never expected much to come out of this. I just wanted to keep my family and friends from back home updated on our city life and how we were adjusting. But I have gotten so much more out of this than I could have of imagined. I’ve made amazing friends, both in real life and in the virtual world (who I hope to get to meet IRL one day,) started writing for some amazing sites, met celebrities, attended unforgettable events, started a career as a social media consultant which allows me to work from home, and most importantly it’s been this amazing journal that I can share with Harlan and her baby sister when they are older.

I want to thank everyone who has read, commented, tweeted, messaged me, etc. Your support has truly been amazing and you also inspire me to keep writing.
