I love the gift guides people put together. I use them all year-round, not just at the holiday time they are generally published. I mean, people are having babies all throughout theyear so these well-thought out guides are useful in any month, for me anyway. I was at a shower a few weeks ago and I saw the most unique baby shower gift ever–there is this NYC sculptor-Dad making baby figurines. He casts them in solid sterling silver or bronze. They are gorgeous and tiny and precious and the girl who bought it for our mutual friend said it was perfectly priced–as much as she would have spent on something else. I saw his site.
