Four: Happy Birthday Harlan!

Today my sweet girl is four. I know I say this every year, but it’s so hard to believe just how grown up she is getting.

I always joke to everyone that Harlan is four going on fourteen. This little girl is wise beyond her years. I laugh at the conversations we have on a daily basis. They are so mature, yet have her inklings of being only four.

This year with Harlan has brought so much adventure.

She embraced life being a big sister. Her love and admiration for her sister is more than I could have ever asked for.

Four has also brought fearlessness. Harlan has embraced so much this year and without even hesitating. Her passion to try new things is something that I both admire and envy.

We’ve also watched her imagination flourish. From princesses to chefs, she loves dress up and playing pretend.

She continues to embrace her outgoing personality. A trait she’s had since the very beginning.

Her love and passion for style is better than any four year old I know.

She loves to dance and knows nearly every word to any song on the radio.

Just four years ago our life was blessed more than we could have ever imagined.

Harlan, you are truly a gift from God. You light up my life more than you’ll ever know. From our daily conversations about anything your imagination can think of to our nightly slumber parties, you are joy in my life.  Happy Birthday sweet girl.
