I am so excited for this week. Not only because Christmas is near, but because my family is coming up and we will all be together for the holiday. As I’ve been busy preparing for their arrival, one of the things I haven’t had a chance to do was shop for a Christmas outfit for myself. Rather than searching numerous sites for something to wear, I decided to dress up this gorgeous Hutch Pleated Skirt that I received from one of my go-to sites (and mom-run business,) BURU.

I met Morgan when I was pregnant with Macks and I love that everything on her site is not only fashionable, but it hand-picked by Morgan herself. She’s a busy mom just like the rest of us and her styling experience that she puts into the site takes the guesswork out of getting dressed. And what I love even more was that all of the dresses on her site are nursing friendly. Morgan has done all of the hard work for us and has picked out top designer fashions that we can wear while nursing. Her site was my number one stop when I looked for my nursing wardrobe.

My first look is a bit more casual. I paired the skirt with a sweater and booties. (Both from Rag & Bone)

For the second look, I dressed it up with heels (ZARA,) but still casual with a plaid shirt (J.Crew) and leather vest (Rag & Bone.)

The best part of this was that I just pulled everything out of my closet and both looks are completely different, which I love. Whether I’m off to church on Christmas Eve, a Christmas party, or just our nice Christmas dinner, I now have so many options to wear. I love this versatile skirt from BURU!

(Disclosure: Thank you to Morgan for providing the skirt. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.)
