While I know there isn’t much I can do to make our his cold go away, I do know that there are things that I can do to help bring some relief to his symptoms. And it’s once those symptoms subside that you can rejoice. It’s amazing how great the sound of silence is when your little one is suffering from a constant cough. Let’s be honest, the sound of silence late at night is glorious no matter what, right?

It’s the perfect time of year to be thankful for what you have and give back. And what better way to do that than to get our children involved by doing something that is fun for all.
As much as I do savor my trips to the grocery store on my own to avoid the toddler tantrums, the reality is our journey through the toddler years will soon be over.
