We spent Harlan’s first Christmas here in the city last year. Her and I weren’t living here at the time, but I had two weeks vacation from work and wanted to spend as much time with MacKay as I could. Due to the lack of room in my suitcase, MacKay decided to do the Christmas shopping for Harlan on his own {a big task.}

As we opened presents for her on Christmas morning I was very impressed with the educational toys that he got for Harlan {not that I ever doubted him.} He really put a lot of thought into what he purchased and it showed through my level of excitement. One of my favorite gifts be picked out for her was an educational DVD called eebee’s adventures.

The star of these adventures is eebee, a full body puppet with spiky hair and a very colorful body. Eebee laughs, giggles, and makes baby sounds as he interacts with real life children and adults. Eebee’s adventures aims to focus on the developmental skills that babies are working on. Eebee will take your baby and toddler on real life obstacles and adventures as they explore, figure things out and understand.

Eebee has become a favorite in our household. After watching the DVD many times, we purchased our own Eebee puppet that sleeps with Harlan every night. Eebee even sits with Harlan while watching one of her favorite DVD’s “Figuring Things Out. ” The show focuses on things that are very relevant with the milestones that Harlan is going through right now. It explores light and dark, stacking an knocking down blocks, and Harlan’s favorite part, making and getting through an obstacle full of pillows. Harlan has used what she has seen on the show and has tried to replicate them in real life.

Eebee’s adventures is a series that, as a parent, I enjoy watching with my Harlan because not only does it challenge her to learn and explore, it gives me ideas on how to help encourage learning when we play together.

Win it! Good news! Everyday Baby has provided a set of 3 eebee’s adventures DVD’s for one lucky A Mommy in the City reader.
