Madame Alexander: Play Alexander

A couple of weeks ago I was introduced to Madame Alexander dolls. Most people know Madame Alexander for their line of collectible dolls, which are geared towards the older children and adults. They also have a great line of dolls for babies and toddlers in their Play Alexander line. From your child’s favorite television show, books and of course the classics, there are dolls for everyone! I got an up close and personal look at their new 2011 line and wanted to share with you some of my favorites!

Fancy Nancy

Based on the children’s book series by author Jane O’Connor and illustrator Robin Preiss Glasser, these Fancy Nancy dolls evoke the charm and larger-than-life personality of this beloved red head! The Fancy Nancy House tote includes a 9″ cloth Fancy Nancy doll and Frenchy the Posh Puppy. The house opens from both sides and is a spin on the classic doll house!

Angelina Ballerina

Adapted from the animated series based on the children’s books by Katharine Holabird, Angelina Ballerina will be sure to bring out your child’s inner dancer. This carrying case is a favorite of mine from the line because the mix and match wardrobe evokes creativity and imagination. The carryall includes a 9″ cloth Angelina doll and five separate pieces of clothing to dress her up.

Olivia

One of Harlan’s favorite Nick Jr. Shows {and mine too} is the creative and most loveable pig, Olivia. Strawberry Shortcake

Who doesn’t love a good classic doll? Strawberry Shortcake was one of my favorite shows growing up and I cannot wait to introduce her to Harlan.
