10 Things I Love About You

This is my first time participating in Mama Kat’s Writer’s Workshop and I am very excited! I was going to do the vlog prompt today and tell you a very funny story about Harlan but it involves somthing that might will embarrass my husband and he refused to let me tell the story to the world. {I promise I will tell you this story one day because it’s a GOOD one.}

Instead I will respond to the prompt, List ten favorite things about one of your favorite people. It’s no wonder why I chose her as one of my favorite people. I spend almost all of my time with her everyday and even brought her into this world. She has brought me more joy in the past 21 months than I have ever had in my 27 years of life.

Harlan, here are 10 things I love about you:

1. You call my name as soon as you wake up in the morning. Although it’s an early wakeup call, nothing makes me happier than knowing that I am the first person you think about when you wake up in the morning.

2. You are the best cuddler in the world. You will even manage to move my arms just so that you can lay on my chest and cuddle with me. It is the sweetest thing in the world and brings me butterflies every time you do it.

3. You love singing and will sing me a song whenever I need to be cheered up. Even though you don’t know all of the words to your favorite songs, I can just ask you to sing me a song and you will. The best is when you will sing me a song and dance for me at the same time!

4. You are the most easy going person I know. You have your toddler moments, but since the day you were born you have been able to adapt to any situation we have put you in. Can you please teach me how to be that way?

5. You give the best kisses in the world. You even make the little smacking noise when you kiss me. What’s even better is that I don’t have to ask you for the kisses all the time, you give them to me unsolicited.

6. You are the ultimate girly girl. You love to dress up and try on my shoes and even try to put makeup on when I am doing mine. You love playing with your dolls and playing pretend. I can’t wait until you are old enough for us to have tea parties together.

7. You are the ultimate mini-me. I am honored that you love to do everything that I do. Just don’t pick up my bad habits! 😉

8. You are one of the funniest little girls I know. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t have a story to tell about something you did or said that made me laugh.

9. You are so easy to love. You have such a bubbly personality and are so full of life. The energy you carry when you are in a room is radiant.

10. You have made me a better person. I never thought my life would change as much as it has when I first saw you. Even though I brought you into this world and gave you life, without expecting it, you have given me life too. I love you more than anything in this world.
