At Avery’s nine month check-up, I thought that the worst news we were going to get was that she had a horrible diaper rash. I felt so horrible for her. There were blisters, redness, and everything in between. She only seemed incredibly uncomfortable when I had to change her diaper, but it was painful for me to even look at it. Her pediatrician prescribed us a diaper rash cream to help it heal quickly.
Of course the nine month appointment ended with low weight gain and an emergency appointment to the GI doctor. In the craziness of it all, I forgot to get the prescription filled for her diaper rash. I knew that I had some Boudreaux’s at home, so I was just going to use that until the morning when the pharmacy opened up.
I’d been using Boudreaux’s since Harlan was born. It was given to me as a baby shower gift and always helped cure the diaper rash. I just knew that Avery’s diaper rash was really bad this time and didn’t know if our cream at home was going to do the trick.
That night I put Boudreaux’s on Avery before she went to bed. The next morning I woke up to quickly change her so that I could run to the store and get her prescription filled. To my surprise when I changed her diaper, he rash looked completely different than the night before.
Most of the redness that was all over her little booty had lightened and the little blisters looked drastically better. All of that improvement with a little over the counter butt paste. I knew that Boudreaux’s was good, but I didn’t know it was that good.
With such a great improvement, I never got the prescription for her diaper cream filled and kept using the Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. After a couple of days the rash was completely gone!
There are a few tried and true baby products that I’ve used for both girls and Boudreaux’s is definitely one of them.
