Living in a small apartment with three kids, I am so much more aware of how much stuff babies require. Even with my minimalist mentality, I still have so much baby gear scattered around the apartment. To optimize the space, I try to stay as organized as possible.
To help me stay organized, I try to make sure that everything has a place. I’ve tried to make sure that the girls know where everything goes as well so that they can help me when I ask. Harlan is really great about helping me put things back or get things when I ask her. Avery is just hitting the age where she wants to help me clean up. They both think it’s fun too, which helps. 🙂
One of the spaces in our apartment that is the hardest to organize is the kitchen. We have very little storage space for all of our kitchen supplies. One cabinet is reserved as our pantry, one is for our dishes, and another is for pots and pans. The ONE drawer that we have in the kitchen holds our utensils and any other odds and ends that we have.
Now that Macks is a couple of months old and I am comfortable leaving him more than a couple of hours, we’ve started him on bottles. I forgot just how much space bottles take up and with no space in our cabinets, I needed a clean and organized space on the counters that would work for the bottles.
