He’s closer to 10 months now than he is nine, but better late than never. 😉
This has been such an incredible month for Macks. He is pulling himself up, cruising, saying “mama” , and absolutley loves playing with his sisters. Our major milestone this month is that Macks did incredible with his weight gain! We got the go ahead at his nine month check-up that we are no longer in need of weight checks. (Yay!) He’s in the 8th percentile, but is steady on his own curve, so the doctor is comfortable with that. He’s in the 68th percentile for height, so he’s tall and lean, just like his daddy.
We started finger foods this month so get him used to other textures. He’s fallen in love with pancakes (an admiration he shares with Avery,) and tries to take anything off of your plate. He gets this high-pitched squeal when he knows it’s time to eat and eating is serious business for him.
Sleep is still an issue and he only sleeps through the night on occasion, but I’m still okay with it because he makes a terrific cuddle buddy at night.
His eczema returned this month (we’re guessing becuase of the weather) and it’s something that I’m trying to get under control. Right now we are just doing heavy lotion and sometimes a steroid if it gets really bad. Any tips you have are appreciated!
With the holiday season well underway, I can’t wait to celebrate Macks’ first Thanksgiving and Christmas. And then, before we know it, it will be his first birthday! 🙁
