Can you believe we are only weeks away from Christmas? As much as I love this time of year, it always seems to fly by. This Christmas is very special for all of us. Not only is it Macks’ first, but it’s also our first spent in the suburbs in our new house.
Although we aren’t traveling this year, I wanted to make it extra special for all of us. Part of that is to get the kids dressed up “all fancy” as the girls call it for a special dinner spent with family and friends.
The girls love shopping, especially if it involves clothes for them, so on a recent trip to Target, I let them pick out their holiday dresses. Harlan immediately ran to her dress as soon as she saw it becuase of the sparlky gold woven throughout the dress. Avery’s dress was a must-have for her because it twirled (she’s such a mini Harlan. “Oh my!” was the first thing she said when she saw the dress.
Macks is easy to shop for because he has absolutely no opinion on the matter. 😉 He doesn’t have many more formal clothes, so this was fun to shop for him. I love that the set came together and I didn’t have to mix and match anything.
Target has so many great options for holiday outfits, that I think we might be back for more for the holiday parties that we have lined up this month.
As if I didn’t already love this time of year enough, these three and our nre home make it even more magical. It truly is the most wonderful time of year.
