We celebrated Avery’s third birthday over the weekend with family and friends with a little celebration. Avery has told me for nearly eight months that she wanted a Belle birthday party. She’s never waivered on her decision and has stuck to the theme, so it was up to me to make her dream a reality.
Now that she’s in preschool, she had so many of her friends to invite. Rather than having it at our house like we normally would, we opted for a larger place space so that her and her friends could run around. There is a Kidville in our area and after having two successful parties for Harlan at a Kidville in the city, I knew that this would be a perfect location for her to celebrate.
Because Belle was from France, I went for the French theme when it came to food. There is a local French bakery in town and they have fresh homemade baguettes and macaroons. They were so delicious. The Mrs. Pots cakepops were the perfect touch for our Belle themed party and were almost too cute to eat!
If you’ve seen our parties before, you know I love Magnolia Bakery for the cake. Moving out of the city doesn’t change that. Thank goodness for their Grand Central location so my sister or a friend can pick it up on the way out to our house. I just stuck one of the girls’ Belle figurines on it to complete the look.
You guys know I love my gold, so there is always a way I try to incorporate it. And of course red roses symbolize the red rose that was in Beauty and the Beast.
A crown for Princess Avery.
These candybob roses were the perfect treat for the kids to take home.
We had to have the rose displayed for all to see.
The party was filled with so many activites for the kids including crown decorating.
And time at the gym.
It took Avery a bit to warm up to the running and jumping around.
Harlan obviously had no problem.
Avery didn’t quite know what to think of the zipline.
Macks had fun with a large padded space that allowed him to run and climb whereever he wanted.
And Har just couldn’t stop jumping.
Or climbing.
Or hanging around.
Avery wasn’t sure how she felt about being the center of attention the entire time.
Macks looking like a Mr. Man.
We welcomed Aunt Danni and Chips from their honeymoon with smiles. The girls couldn’t wait to see them.
These two were inseparable the entire party. I love that they look out for one another and genuinely have a great time with each other.
Happy Birthday, Little A!
We couldn’t have asked for a better celebration for our baby girl! Happy 3rd Birthday Avery!
