It’s Wednesday! That means it’s time to spread some positivity and tell me why you’re happy. There’s so much going on in our lives that it’s nice to stop and reflect on something that’s happened that’s put a smile on our face.
Last weekend I had the chance to go home to Tampa by myself for one of my best friend’s wedding. While it would have been nice to take the entire family, I secretly loved being able to spend that one-on-one time with my parents. While we went to dinner and ran around town, I sat in the back seat of my parent’s car, which brought me back to the old days. It felt so refreshing to step away from my motherly duties and focus on me.
The wedding was absolutely beautiful and I loved being around family and friends as we celebrated one of life’s greatest joys.
That’s what makes me happy.
