Today is the day where it’s offically time to say goodbye to A Mommy in the City and say hello to Sincerely, Lauren.
Six years ago when we moved to Manhattan I started AMITC as a way to keep my friends and family up to date on our new life living in New York City. Rather than writing a mass email, I came up with the name (after very little thought,) bought the domain, and then started writing “letters” to my family about our new life. Little did I know it would become what it is today.
But over those six years, our life has changed. We’ve welcomed two more children, I’ve started a career, and we’ve moved just outside of Manhattan to the suburbs. I’ve slowly felt that I was growing out of the name, A Mommy in the City, and I needed a change.
Last November I enlisted in the help of Erin from CooperHouse who helped me with branding and the site design. Sincerely, Lauren goes back to the roots of why I started this blog. To write notes about our lives, things that make me happy, and stories about what inspires me.
So I’m officially welcoming you to Sincerely, Lauren. Over the next couple of days you will see some changes. A Mommy in the City will be automatically redirected to Sincerely, Lauren. My Facebook page will change to reflect the new name, and all of my other social media channels will be changed to my name @LaurenJimeson. So if you see Lauren Jimeson or Sincerely, Lauren pop up in your feed, just know it’s me. 🙂
While I’ll forever be thankful for AMITC and what it’s brought to my life, I cannot wait to see what Sincerely, Lauren brings.
As always, I am forever grateful for your support!
