Now that the kids are a bit older, I feel a little bit of weight has been lifted off of my shoulders (not completely, of course). They’re all able to keep themselves occupied, which leaves me more time for myself. A lot of times I’ll take advantage of it and take an hour at the gym, and then there are some times when I need something a bit more relaxing and I’ll hide up in my room to catch up on work, just to read a magazine, or do a little pampering. A time to refresh. The simplicity of it all is quite invigorating. But I’ve recently realized that it’s important to take care of me just as much as it is to take care of my family.
Part of that means taking care of my skin. Since I’ve started working out more, it’s been doing a number on my skin, especially on my face. Not only is it drying out, but I’m noticing more blemishes as well. Taking more time to nourish my skin and keep it free of the dirt and oils that build up throughout the day is something that I don’t take lightly.
Cetaphil is not only a product that I use to clean my skin, but I use it to moisturize as well. The Moisturizing Lotion is fragrance and paraben free and immediately leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.
And my new favorite is the Gentle Skin Cleansing Cloths. They are so easy to grab and quickly cleanse my face when I am in a hurry, or if I want to have a quick refresher before heading out to the gym. They not only clean off my makeup and other dirt and oils, but also hydrate my face as well.
Cetaphil has products for the entire family. The Cetaphil Baby line has calming organic calendula extract to soothe and nourish baby’s delicate skin. It’s paraben, colorant, and mineral oil-free. Having kids with sensitive skin, the Cetaphil Baby Daily Lotion and Wash & Shampoo are great soothing choices to help keep their skin clean and moisturized.
And the Cetaphil Men line is full of products to keep MacKay’s skin feeling clean and healthy without harsh ingredients or heavy fragrances.
I’m so excited to partner with Cetaphil and host a special event out in Los Angeles next week with Charlie from How to Be a Dad! Stay tuned to the blog, as well as my Instagram and Snapchat (laurenjimeson) accounts to stay up to date on all of the fun! You can also watch the Facebook Live of the event on the Cetaphil Facebook Page!
