It’s hard to believe, but Harlan’s days at Kidville University (her preschool) is coming to an end. It’s been such a blessing to have her go three days a week. Not only is it a time for me to have alone time and get work done, but it’s been great for her to meet new friends and become more independent.

With school ending, I started to get worried about what she was going to do over the summer. I want to keep our routine as similar to what it is now as possible. I know she loves going to Kidville all the time and I didn’t want to completely take that away from her just because school is over (and I must admit, I really do like the semi-alone time that I get.)

Lucky for her (and me) Kidville offers a summer camp, Camp Kidville, that starts just one week after her school is over. Last year, Harlan attended Camp Kidville and had a great time.

Look at how young she looks!
These shirts were so cute!

She was too young last year for me to just drop her off, but I had a great time as well. We enjoyed arts and crafts and did so many great activities that Harlan had a blast doing.

Her favorite part was going to the gym because she was able to jump around climb on all of the great equipment they have.

She's my little gymnast.

I am so excited that she gets to go back this year and for five days a week! As KVU has done for Harlan already, going to Camp Kidville will allow her to continue her journey of independence. She loves walking into Kidville everyday because she knows (and I know) she is going to have an incredible experience. For that, I am truly grateful.

Kidville not only has a lot of locations around NYC, but all over the country. At Camp Kidville you can choose from 2, 8, 12, or 16-weeks sessions. Children ages 18-24 months get to experience camp with a parent or caregiver, while children ages 2-5 can be dropped off. Each day, campers rotate classrooms and participate in fun activities like: gym, music, exploration (science-based activities), and arts & crafts. They also feature special theme days like Beach Day, Olympics Day and Pajama Day.

If you are looking for something to entertain your little ones, Camp Kidville is the way to go!
