I worry. I worry a lot. Especially when it comes to the well being of my children. I’ve always suffered from anxiety growing up and I’ve quickly learned that it only escalated when I had children. I’m the type of parent that will google nearly everything (which always leads to a horrible horrible answer.) I ask our pediatrician a million and one questions when we go for a visit. My doctor would laugh at me when I went in for my visits during my pregnancy because I’d ask the most off the wall questions. I sometimes laugh at myself with all of the things I choose to worry about. But it’s hard not to when I have so much love for my children.

Thankfully Kinsa Health is taking a little bit of stress away and giving me a reason to have one less worry. Check out this video from my friends over at How to Be a Dad that show us how.

Remember when I showed you how gross my kids can be? Despite them touching things and putting things in their mouth that they shouldn’t have, I was less stressed because I had the Kinsa Smartphone Themometer to help track their temperature and symptoms when they got sick from all of that gross stuff they touched. Well, Kinsa has done it again with the launch of their new Smart Ear Thermometer.

Yesterday, Kinsa launched an Indiegogo campaign for their new Smart Ear Thermometer, which can give your a temperature reading in just one second! How’s that for one less worry? For the month of September, the Smart Ear thermometer will be as low as $40 for one thermometer and with options to buy multiple for even greater savings.

Funds raised through the campaign will go towards supporting Kinsa’s philanthropy program FLUency which gives free Kinsa stick thermometers to all families in a number of schools throughout the country.

Isn’t it time we all have one less worry? Thanks, Kinsa, for making my life and other parent’s lives just a little less stressful.

{Disclosure: This post is brought to you in partnership with Kinsa. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the companies that help make A Mommy in the City possible!}
