When Harlan was born I was very cognizant of what I put on her skin. MacKay has very sensitive skin and I knew that Harlan had a good chance of inheriting that from him. I made sure the soap I bathed her in and the lotion I rubbed on her body was made of natural and organic ingredients.
It scared me when I looked at some of the lotion I received as gifts and I was unable to decipher some of the ingredients. After doing a little bit more research I found that many of the ingredients were both rough on the skin and some were even suspected carcinogens.
After reading all of this research, I realized that if I am putting more thought and effort into what I put on Harlan’s skin, why not my own? From that point on I began to use many of the lotions that I put on Harlan on my own skin. It was difficult to find a skincare line that was marketed towards mother’s and babies and not just babies alone.
I was thrilled when suki Skincare approached me to try out a few products from their sukibody line.
Many of the suki products not only hydrate my skin, but they also help with common issues like baby rash, dryness, and irritation. What I love about them the most is that all suki® products are 100% natural, mostly organic, & free of any synthetic ingredients and parabens. That means that all of the products are completely safe for pregnant women, nursing moms & babies!
Last week after returning home from Florida my skin was extremely dry and peeling from my time in the sun. I used the velvet moisturizing cream everyday to get my skin back to where it needed to be. Not only is my skin no longer peeling, but it also feels softer than ever.
Suki skincare not only has women in mind, but also their children as well. I don’t have to worry about Harlan wanting to help me put on the lotion because I know that it is safe and natural for her skin as well. That’s something to feel good about!

Isn’t it funny that we worry so much more about what we put onto/into these kids than ourselves. This seems like a great line for mamas who are ready to treat themselves as well as we treat our babies!

We need to start thinking about ourselves too and that is why I loved this line!
