Harlan’s hair has really started to grow this summer. It isn’t long by most standards, but it is long to me. I’ve been waiting for the day to do this to Harlan, and although her hair isn’t quite long enough for it, it was fun to do it just for a second.

Adorable! Welcome to the world of ribbons and bows! It is best to use the barrettes/hair clips that you squeeze and they open. They come with all sorts of ribbons and bows. Have fun!

LOVE pigtails! Adorable. Is it wrong that I always want to put Nate’s hair in pigtails too? I’ve resisted so far…

I was so excited for pigtails! And it’s even better when they are little wispy tails that stick up in the air!

Allison actually had a decent amount of hair, so we started about 10 months. I got my fix for about 6 months before she started running away from me whenever I pulled out the comb. Sigh.

Awww….I totally understand this! Cal didn’t have hair until she was almost 2 years old! I bought so many bows and ribbons in anticipation and as soon as I could get one to stay for one than a few seconds, I had her in those hair accessories non-stop.

Cute! I’m impressed she stayed still long enough for you to put not one, but two ponytails in. My wiggling worm makes it very hard to put anything in her hair besides a barrette.

Aww! So cute! My little girl has plenty of hair but she rarely keeps it in very long either. Eh, still worth the cute pictures!
