With Harlan starting school soon, it seems all of the talk around our house is preschool related. Although she is starting school this year, she will only be doing the program for one year. She starts the “real NYC preschool” next year. That means that I am up to my neck in the New York City preschool process. For those who don’t know, this process is very long and very stressful {more so than college.} I’ll save the detailed process for a later post.

For this school year though, we are stress free and ready to go. Harlan could not be more excited and insists on wearing her backpack everywhere we go. What’s even more exciting to me is that we are finished with our back to school clothes shopping. I gave you a preview of some of Harlan’s back to school looks from American Living a couple of weeks ago. Now I am going to show you three complete looks that I love, and most importantly that Harlan loves.

Not only does American Living have great stuff for Harlan, but I have scouted a few of my favorite looks for kids of all ages.

Want to own some of these fashionable, yet classic looks from American Living? JC Penney has been kind enough to give one lucky A Mommy in the City reader a $25 gift card. With the unbelievable prices on the American Living collection, $25 is sure to go a long way.

I am a Facebook “liker”

My daughter is just 17 months old … so she’s not heading out to school but we’re working on colors and letters at home. It’s been lots of fun.
