stroller This afternoon I was walking home from the playground with the girls. I didn’t bring my stroller with me because we took a cab to Avery’s doctor’s appointment and then had the cab drop us off at the playground for a little fun after. The playground is just a few short blocks away from our apartment, so I didn’t think it would be a big deal to walk home with both girl sans stroller. Sometimes I surprise myself with how naive I can be.

Avery, who is probably more active than Harlan (and that says a lot,) did not want to be carried at all on the way home. She twisted and turned trying desperately to get out of my arms so that she could walk just like her big sister. Finally I gave up and let her walk, but only if she would hold Harlan’s hand. It wasn’t ideal, but it did make for a great photo op.

But cute photo and all, I was a nervous wreck watching Avery walk down the street. I have just gotten comfortable with letting Harlan walk the sidewalks of the city and she’s nearly four years old. Oh how I wish I would have just brought my stroller with me today.

Living in the city, my stroller is everything. It’s my car (because we don’t own one.) It gives me peace of mind knowing that I can walk nearly anywhere around the city and my girls are safe, secure, and comfortable. I take my obsession with strollers very seriously. With as much time as we spend with them, I want nothing but the best for my girls.

And I want nothing but the best for you! That is why I am giving you the chance to win a brand new Stokke Scoot!  19A5DDE9A35241FCA194A4EC9D8889A5.ashx

The Scoot is one of the newest strollers from Stokke. It’s a lightweight, compact stroller that is perfect for travel, navigating busy streets in the city, and public transit. But don’t let the weight fool you. The Scoot still has “Best in Class” features. It’s easy to push, fold, and carry with one hand (that’s a major plus) while you have your little one in the other. It has a large shopping basket underneath which gets major points in my book. Babies require a lot of stuff and I take a lot of stuff with me, so a large basket is always a great feature.
