Growing up in the south, I was never accustomed to snow days. The closest we ever came to school being called off was for hurricanes. And for the most part, those were misses and we were able to go outside and play in the nice warm weather. These snow days are a whole different ball game.

For the past three weeks, the Northeast has been hit with a lot of snow. So much so that they’ve managed to call off three days of school. While I love being at home with the kids, being stuck inside with them for too long calls for a major case of cabin fever for all of us.

I was well prepared with arts and crafts for the kids, but what they really wanted was to run around and just get some energy out. I cannot tell you how grateful I am to have a house and space that they can actually do that in.

A couple of weeks ago Razor sent over a bunch of their ride-on toys for our entire family, and while at first I thought that we wouldn’t get to be able to enjoy them until the weather got a little bit warmer outside, I found out that they make the perfect snow days toys to help the kids get their energy out.

Avery’s seen Harlan ride on a scooter before and was so happy to finally get one of her own. The Razor Kutie is the perfect size for her and I love that the unicorn comes out and can be used as a ride-on toy. With all of the practice that she’s getting inside, she will be a pro come spring.

I’m just going to put this out there…. I love this RipRider 360. I might have spent a while riding around the living room drifting and spinning in circles after the kids went to bed. It’s seriously so fun and had MacKay and me in a laughing fit because we were enjoying it so much.

Harlan is at the perfect age for it now and figured it out in a matter of seconds. It’s so much fun to watch her spin around and I cannot wait to see her do it in our driveway once the weather warms up.

The Twisti is the most adorable ride-on toy that all three of the kids love! Macks is a bit too young for it, but that doesn’t stop him from sitting on it and attempting to scoot along. I love that the eyes on the bee move back and forth as you move the handles to roll around the room.

These toys were just what the kids needed on the days that we are stuck inside. They allow the kids to get their much needed energy out and I can have a little bit of time-off not being the entertainer.

I am so excited that I will be attending Toy Fair, a show for those involved in the toy and youth industry, this weekend in NYC as the Razor Playful Mom. Follow along on Instagram to get an sneak peek at some new toys to hit shelves later this year!
