One of my absolute favorite things to do with the kids is go out on adventures. We have so much fun when we are out exploring together. Harlan had an early-release day from school today, so we decided to hit the local pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins to carve this weekend.
Of course, they have to make everything interesting. We had all three pumpkins picked out and then Macks decided he didn’t like his anymore, so he wanted to pick out a new one. Then suddenly the girls didn’t like theirs either and had to pick out new ones.
I told them before we left that I wanted to get a picture. And the only one that complied was Harlan.
But of course Avery said she’d happilty take one by herself if she could style it the way she wanted.
And once Avery did it, Macks had to do it too.
And then I accidentally caught this shot and all was right in the world again.
That’s what makes me happy.
Now tell me something good. Something that’s made you happy. It can be big, it can be small, just something that has put a smile on your face.
