I finally did it. I made my first vlog. I am linking up with Elena, Jessica, and Kate for Vlog Talk!
And of course my first vlog has to have an awful screen shot on it. I guess that is what I get for waiting so long!

They are very nerve wrecking! Harlan looked at me very strangely the entire time I was talking into my computer. At first she thought I was video chatting with someone. Surprisingly this was only take 2 and no editing. We will see how that goes for my next vlog!

such a natural easy demeanor in front of the camera. I’d be stuttering…and maybe sweating, which is why i haven’t gotten up the courage to vlog. you go, girl.
I love Harlan’s unique name. I’m always fascinated about how people get their names, even if it’s a more common name like John or Jenn. I wonder if it’s a family thing of a best friend of the parents things or a character in a favorite book thing. Good to know where Harlan got her name…so very sweet.

I love the name Harlan – it is my son’s name, too! He is named after his great-grandpa on my husband’s side, who at 92 was thrilled when we told him Little Man was sharing his name. Todd & I are the same way with the family names. All of my siblings & I are all named after people in our family, so I had to carry on the tradition.
