Tomorrow Harlan and I leave to go to Tampa for the first time since we moved to the city over 10 months ago. After this brutal Winter that has now made it’s way into Spring, we are both in desperate need of some sun and warm weather. As much as I have fallen so madly in love with this city, I am craving a little time in the suburbs. I miss my family and my friends.

I already have so many things for us to enjoy while we are down there. I want to take her to the beach for the first time, show her the magic of Disney World, and let her get spoiled by her grandparents. I am also very excited to watch a very good friend and sorority sister walk down the aisle this weekend. It truly is going to be a vacation to remember!

Don’t worry, I am not totally going to neglect the blog while I am gone. I do want to take a little time out for myself and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have some great guest posts lined up for the next two weeks. I will come back every so often to update you on my vacation in Florida, but won’t post everyday as I usually do.

So, we are off to enjoy our vacation! Wish me luck on the long plane ride {and layover} with Harlan. 😉

What are your favorite vacation spots?

Enjoy your time with friends and family 🙂 Please bring back the warm weather with you!

My favorite spots in the U.S. are New Orleans & Vegas…which I was going to either right now! 🙂

Don’t worry, she will be knocked out (sleeping) in no time – it’ll be just like a long, soothing car ride. Hopefully! (Hehe 🙂

Safe travels!!!

Have a blast! I love Tampa and Orlando. My two bff’s live in both of those cities. We took my daughter to Disney when she was 2 1/2 years old. We are over due for another trip there!

Have a wonderful vacation. Enjoy the much needed Vitamin D!

Seriously, I must be the only person who doesn’t think Disney is the best place ever. Perhaps that’s because I lived in Celebration for {too many} years. I prefer Sea World and Universal. Either way, theme parks are so much fun for the kiddos.

Safe travels, hun! And have a great trip. Layovers are the worst with little ones. I remember when Aiden and I had a layover to and fro our trip to Hawaii and I felt like it was the longest thing ever. LOL. Hopefully Harlan will sleep for most of the travel time.

Have a great time! We’ll be heading to St. Pete’s in a few weeks. How’s the weather? Must tell us all some good Disney tips for the younger set! I”ve always only gone when I was a tween/early teens….
