For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to do something on screen. I spent high school doing theatre and was involved in every single production throughout my four years. If it wasn’t acting, it was the news that I wanted to pursue. I went to college to become a meteorologist on television and even did a live 30-minute weather show everyday from our college television studio.

Deep down inside I would still love to do any of those things. There is something about being on television that gives me the biggest thrill and I absolutely love it.

While I was in Los Angeles for the Disney Frozen premiere, I had the chance to fulfill a part of my dream by going into the recording studio (the same one used by the actors in the film!) to do a scene from “Frozen” as the voice of Olaf. I was completely nervous, but it was one of the most exciting things I’ve ever done in my life.

Lucky for me (and for you) they recorded my time in the studio so I could look back at this moment forever!

Here is my time in the recording studio. After watching this was so surprised at how much I got into the scene as I was reading the lines.

And here is the final product with my voice as Olaf in the scene from the movie!

I showed this scene to the girls and Harlan thought I was the coolest mom. I hope she still thinks that 10 years from now! 😉

Did you have a dream growing up that you were able to fulfill?
